Facility Notification: By entering the facility doors, all attendees (including coaches, parents, competitors, and guests) agree to maintaining proper behavior for the duration of the event; to being respectful to competitors and contest staff, and only being in the areas in which attendees are allowed. Any attendees that cause any form of issue, including bringing unnecessary attention to themselves, engage in any physical or verbal altercations, or that are involved in the destruction of property of any value level, will be removed from the facility and dealt with by the onsite GPD officer, and associated athletes may be disqualified.

If your High Schooler or College twirler wants to enter but may have a football

play-off or bowl gameconflict, please register online but send payment

via CHECK with a note saying "hold for play-offs". We will not

cash the check until we receive confirmation of attendance.

*Competition begins promptly at 8:30 am
*Doors will open at 8:00 am. No early arrival
*NBTA Rules will be in effect for all competitive events
*First entries received will be last to perform.
*Performance order will be done via set numbers
*Lane assignments will be in the program

*The formal set system will be followed for X-Struts
*No food/drink except water allowed in the gym


Refund Policy: There will be NO REFUNDS given for any reason, including change

of personal plans/availability, change of venue, change of date, change of judges,

change of format, change of schedule, or change of safety requirements. For questions

Event Order: modeling events, best costume, individual events, teams & show twirls


Contest Surcharge admits parents, coaches, and spectators, as well as includes a digital program


Level Designation: ​You must enter the pageant level that corresponds with your solo level. 


Contest Statement on Double Entering: Double entering will not be allowed for pageant events (meaning you can only enter one level of pageant). Double entering IS allowed for other events (solo, basic, x-strut, two baton), but you must enter the level your twirler currently competes in as well as the next level up. *Please Note* If they win the next level up, they must move up to that level permanently for that event, even if they have no competitors at that level. 


The program will be emailed out the week of the contest (typically on Wednesday evening). There will NOT be paper copies available at the contest, so please print out your own or download the PDF to your phone. 


*Individual Music Submission*
Anyone entering an event with individual music (show twirl, rhythmic, UIL, team, collegiate twirl, freestyle, etc) must submit their music via email to ATXTwirlFest@gmail.com by December 15th. Music will only be played via pre-loaded music files We will not have a CD player or alternate playing option. This will prevent the need for sound checks or music malfunctions since all music will be able to be tested beforehand. 



*High School Band Concession Stand*
Support the contest hosts, the High School

Band, by visiting their Concession Stand. These

funds will help pay for their upcoming season.

Full menu will be available the week of the contest.

Miss Holiday Model:

60% Modeling, 40% Interview
Attire: Costume or Dress *no stiletto/spike heels allowed
Awards: 1st place – Tiara, Trophy, & Sash

2nd-5th place – Rhinestone Headband & Trophyette

Miss Twirling Snowflake:

20% Modeling & Interview, 40% X Strut, 40% Solo
Modeling Attire - Beg/Int: Costume, Adv: Formal Dress
Awards: 1st Place – Tiara, Trophy & Sash

2nd-5th place – Trophy

 Basic Skills Pageant:

20% Modeling in costume (no interview),

40% Basic Strut, 40% Solo
Awards: 1st Place – Tiara/Award/Sash

2nd-5th place – Award


Candy Cane Cup Twirl Off:

The Top 2 placing twirlers in each Solo division will

twirl off against the other twirlers from their difficulty

division (i.e. Top 2 for all Novice Solos). Judges will

select the overall winners for the Novice, Beginner,

and Intermediate divisions and the Candy Cane Cup

Grand Champion from the Advanced/Collegiate division.

The winner of each division will receive a Candy

Cane Twirl Off Winner Cup.


High School Colorguard Solo - Sabre, Rifle, or Flag
Solos Will be awarded a I, II, or III rating
